Are you friendly, detail oriented, and passionate about finding forever homes for homeless and abused dogs? Have you been fostering for a rescue organization and ready to move up? We have spots open on our CORE team!

ADOPTION COORDINATOR - The roles of the Adoption Coordinator (AC) are primarily focused around processing adoption applications of pets in the adoption program. The AC works directly with the Application Manager, Foster Coordinator and Applicants. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following types of activities:

-Keeping communication open with fosters and working closely with the foster coordinator to learn about the foster dogs.
-Processing incoming Adoption Applications.
-Conducting/arranging pre-adoption Interviews, Home Visits and Meet/Greets.
-Conducting follow up calls or emails with adopters post adoption.
-Directing previous adopters to the proper contact if a problem arises with their adopted dog and keeping the Executive Director informed.

The Adoption Coordinator position requires someone with excellent communication and organization skills, good management skills and the ability to enforce policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a passion for rescuing pets facing euthanasia, will be comfortable working a diverse group of people and will be familiar with New Love Animal Rescues mission, goals and programs.

This role requires approximately 3 +/- hours a week regularly. This role is critical to support the daily operations of New Love Animal Rescue. This is a volunteer position. Previous rescue experience required: handling dogs, familiar with basic animal behavior.

Training/on-boarding will be provided.
