Children's Restoration Network is a nonprofit organization that provides direct and supportive services to help address the physical, emotional, and academic needs of more than 6,500 homeless children and 1,100 homeless mothers living across 20 Metro-Atlanta counties throughout the year.
We are in need of volunteers to help us put together mailings for both our Fall Newsletter and our annual holiday card for our volunteers & donors. Upon finishing the work with these mailings, we will also need help constructing giant paper stockings and putting paper ornaments on there to help support our 12 Days of Caring toy & gift drive.
This volunteering takes place at our office in Roswell, which is located at 11285 Elkins Road, Ste. C-4, Roswell, GA, and volunteers are welcome to volunteer for as little or as much time as they like between the hours of 10 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Thanks for helping with these campaigns so that we can share more about the work we do with our supporters and help approximately 3,500 homeless children receive at least 6 new gifts during the holidays and have a truly memorable holiday season!

Children's Restoration Network (CRN) offers hope and support, enabling children and their mothers to break the cycle of homelessness by empowering them to become part of mainstream society as active productive citizens: and through programs and special events designed to address their academic, emotional, and physical needs.
Description
Our vision is to form effective community partnerships to cultivate the restoration of a positive family environment for homeless children. As a non profit agency, our focus is on the plight of homeless children in our community. In addition to meeting basic needs, CRN conducts special events to provide a broad range of positive experiences for the children and their mothers to promote healthy and happy community interaction. Since 1993, CRN has dedicated its efforts to fulfilling its vision and mission statement currently working with over 120 shelters and group homes throughout metro Atlanta. CRN also provides homeless children and mothers with basic necessities such as providing food and subsidizing rent and utilities, for shelters supplementing their food pantries, and providing furniture, housewares and other assistance for families recovering from homelessness.
