Volunteer drivers at Meals on Wheels deliver hot meals to homebound elderly and disabled people who are unable to prepare nutritious meals for themselves and have no one to do so on a regular basis.
Meals are delivered between 10:30am-1:30pm Monday-Friday with 1 hot and 2 frozen meals on Friday to cover the Senior's weekend needs. Drivers are assigned a route that may take up to 2 hours to complete. Most volunteers cover a route 1 day/week. We are happy to have volunteers whenever they can help!
We love our volunteers that ensure their neighbors don't go hungry. The volunteer may be the only person the client sees all day, so that friendly smile and quick conversation is extremely meaningful!

Fort Bend Seniors Meals on Wheels (FBS) provides comprehensive services and programs including meals on wheels, congregate meals, transportation, case management, health and nutrition education, information and referral services, recreation, telephone reassurance and much more. Each of these programs and services enable area seniors to remain in their homes and continue to be an integral part of the community for as long as possible.
