Each winter around the holidays, 20 students from each grade are selected to receive a "secret angel". Gifts are donated from community partners and distributed before they leave for holiday break in December. We are in need of volunteers to help sort gifts and assist in the distribution. Gift sorting will occur on 12/13 from 9am-11am . Gift distribution will occur on 12/20 from 1pm-3pm . We would prefer to have volunteers participate in both sorting and distribution, but if you can only participate in one of the days that’s okay too!

Mission Statement
We engage community members in opportunities for education, integration, wellness, and work leading to self-sufficiency and enrichment.
Description
The Refugee Center & Community School at Reynolds Middle School is a full-service community school in the School District of Lancaster, run in partnership with Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13. We serve the whole child--mentally, emotionally, and socially. In service of this mission, RMS offers an Extended Day Program (EDP) at RMS throughout the school year, giving students a safe place to hang out after school, extra help with homework, and enrichment opportunities. RCCSR also offers parent workshops, refugee student support services, cultural navigation, and a uniform bank, all for students and their families.
