About

Volunteer will play an important role in creating and maintaining database of potential foundations, corporations, and government sources providing grants to nonprofit for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects.


Essential Functions:

  • Commit to 3-5 hours weekly working as part of a team that researches and develops database for grants.
  • Efficiently research foundations, corporations, and governmental agencies funder, using a variety of online resources.
  • Accurately enter data of researched funders into template while maintaining a consistent writing style and formats.
  • Categorising grants offered by foundations for individual projects and ASI, and on purpose and field of interest.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience researching on the internet; creatively searching to locate information.
  • Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently per established guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and effectiveness in task and time management.
  • Knowledge of fundraising information sources.
  • Knowledge of grant writing is prefered.
  • Experience of Googlesheets and Googledocs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year experience with grant research.
  • Previous experience with non-profit fundraising.
  • Master’s degree is prefered.
