If you have general knowledge of Word or Open Office, basic knowledge of search engines (Google, Firefox, etc) the ability to assist with saving and printing documents and accessing personal email, becoming a computer navigator would be great with your good public service skills and patience for new computer users.
Responsibilities include:
- assisting patrons logging on to public library computers using library card or guest pass
- assist patrons logging onto to public Wi-Fi in the library
- show patrons how to print using library computers
- assist patrongs with general computer questions
- refer complicated issues to library staff
