Do you speak a foreign language? Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Japanese, Arabic? Patients on Hospice often feel isolated and lonely, especially when there is a language barrier. Volunteers provide support and companionship to patients as well as giving family caregivers a needed break. Our patients, who are in the final stage of illness, will appreciate volunteers who can talk with them in their primary language.
Volunteer opportunities located throughout San Diego County, with a one-time training session required at our San Diego Office.
