We welcome your smiling face and caring heart!
Our commitment to improving the lives of greyhounds is our goal and WE NEED YOU! You can make a HUGE difference in their lives and they are always happy to show you how GREYTful they are. From belly rubs, love and walkies, to grooming, playtime, feeding and kennel cleaning, we need your help every day to keep them safe, healthy and happy while preparing them for their furever homes. Every person who volunteers, in any position or time frame, helps improve the lives of greyhounds and will also enrich your own life and sense of community. We have amazing greys and awesome people!
Our Volunteer Training and Orientation programs are conducted as needed or by appointment. Please fill out the volunteer application on our website.
We use environmentally friendly green products.

Mission Statement
The Racing Dog Retirement Project (RDRP) is an all-Volunteer 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to the protection, rehabilitation, and adoption of retired racing greyhounds.
Description
RDRP provides an outlet for trainers, breeders, and tracks to help place retired racers. We are an all-volunteer, not for profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the care, rehabilitation and to finding adoptive homes for retired racing Greyhounds. We serve the Florida counties of Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, DeSoto and beyond.
RDRP takes in all greyhounds regardless of age, condition or history. All greyhounds are welcomed, cared for and prepared for placement with our foster and permanent homes. We firmly believe retired racers make great pets and cherished family members.
