Did you know 1 in 5 low-income individuals in Los Angeles don't file a return and miss out on $375 million in tax credits? Families need your help.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is an IRS program that helps low-income individuals file their return, claim their refunds, and connect them to great services at no cost.
With more volunteers, more families can access free assistance and claim every dollar they deserve.
Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) is hosting the VITA program at our downtown LA office from February to April. No previous experience required!!
If you are interested, please come to our orientation on the following dates:
Wednesday, November 15th: 6-7:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 18th: 10-11:30 a.m.
At this orientation, you would learn more about specific dates and information of the program and pick up study materials for the tests you need to take to become certified. Please RSVP through the following link if interested (even if you cannot make the two dates above so that we know your availability): https://goo.gl/forms/LGhMT8h9ixbGEwBH3.
