We are a small nonprofit and need someone to help with legal advice, some taxes and basic knowledge of 501c3 laws.
In the past we have been overly charged and taken advantaged of because we always have to seek help from businesses charging for services. We would like to find a person who is willing to help us with our tax filing because we have utilized person(s) in the past that did not have our best interests.

Mission Statement
The Care Zone is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that aids the lives of single parent families, settling immigrants, low-income individuals, and dedicated students in the Houston community. Our focus is to offer transportation assistance as well as home appliances to struggling individuals.
Description
The Care Zone walks alongside these individuals in their time of need in order to help build a better life with and for them and to most importantly help regain hope for a better future.
Before, The Care Zone received 501c3 (non-profit) status, the organization was already in spirit freely giving vehicles, appliances, a/c window units and space heaters to struggling families and individuals in need. The simple mission to help people become independent and economically self-sufficient started in our local automotive shop in Houston.
The Care Zone has been persistent in its pursuit to give more with each passing day. Every donation from us to our recipients makes a difference. When our applicants reveal to us how being in tough situations has brought their spirits and hopes down at any chance for a better life, we feel honored to be given the opportunity to rekindle hope and help them regain ambition to succeed. We at The Care Zone feel humbled to run a program that can immediately and dramatically impact the quality of life for our fellow Houstonians.
We simply believe what we have been taught: "do to others as you would have them do to you." Everyone who believes in our dream becomes a part of our story.
