This is simply a call for volunteers to possibly attend community events during the All-Star Game 2018 to be hosted in Los Angeles, California and travel on behalf of a 501(c)(3) exempt organization.

Preference is for employed volunteers who can qualify their hours for a community service grant from companies like:

Sephora, Pfizer, Gap, CarMax, Apple, Walt Disney, Levi Strauss, Allstate, CIGNA, ExxonMobil, Merk, Amgen, Altria, Verizon, Northrop Grumman, Xcel Energy, Google, PPG Industries, Boeing, Kimberly-Clark, Charles Schwab, General Electric, Qualcomm, State Street Corporation, John Deere, Best Buy, HP, Capital One, Kaisier Permanente, Applied Materials, ConocoPhillips, Chicago Kehillah Fund, Walmart, Target, Sam's Club, Starbucks, Bank of America, Verizon

and/or advance their own funds to pay for the travel expenses. If you choose not to advance your own funds, you can claim unreimbursed expenses on your IRS Form 1040, Schedule C.

Irrespective of employment status, all volunteers are required to remit $250 to become an official volunteer and receive a PVC ID card.

We are awaiting confirmation from the NBA of our request to send a group of volunteers.
