An 81 year old woman living with ALS is looking for someone to help her. Due to her ALS, she is no longer physically able to vacuum. She hopes there’s someone out there with an hour a week to vacuum her living room, bedroom, and the carpeted part of her kitchen.

What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
