We are looking for Patient Care Volunteers at VITAS Healthcare to visit patients on hospice residing in assisted living, nursing homes and/or their own homes located in Ballwin, MO. Patient Care Volunteers offer companionship, play music, games, read to patients and help in other meaningful ways.
Volunteers are matched with a VITAS patient to provide specific, non- medical care through socializing through friendly visits. Every VITAS volunteer receives training in hospice philosophy, how to support patients/families, health and safety precautions and more.
