The My Life, My Story Program is looking for empathetic and talented VOLUNTEERS to interview Veterans and write up their stories.
This opportunity is a GREAT MATCH for anyone with the following skills:
- Writing
- Editing and proofreading
- Interviewing
- Interpersonal communication
- Relationship building
- Research
Requirements include:
- Application and background check (Voluntary Services)
- Writing samples and an interview
- Volunteer orientation
- Job-specific training
- Minimum commitment of one interview + one story per week
- Flexible schedule
- Healthcare background preferred, but not required

The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI serves Veterans from the Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northern Illionois areas. In addition to our main medical center in Milwaukee, we offer a number of services to our patients in four community-based clinics: Green Bay, Union Grove, Cleveland and Appleton.
