Witwer Healthy Aging is a program of Aging Services that provides engaging activities throughout our community. We currently have sites in several different locations including Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha, Ely, and Springville. We have an ongoing activity calendar for active seniors in the community. We are looking for social, friendly faces who are interested in helping coordinate activities by attending activities they have signed up for, help take attendance, set up refreshments and serve as a contact during the activity.
Potential activities that volunteers could be involved in include dances, cards, games, classes, BINGO, and exercise. We would love to sit down with you and discuss your schedule and what activities you love the most!
Volunteers are fully trained and must be willing to complete background checks. Aging Services is a certified Service Enterprise agency...join our efforts and learn more about how we support our community as a team!
