The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. My name is Lori Case and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for Heartland Hospice and we are looking for friendly volunteers to join our team and visit Hospice patients. We offer finger printing, 2 step TB testing, background check and training. Our volunteers are an intricate part of our program. Once your training is complete your schedule is very flexible. We strive to see patients once a week. Volunteering for Hospice is so rewarding and benefits everyone. Families embrace the support from volunteers just there to offer a friendly visit, whether they like to watch TV, talk, be read to, take a walk or singing. the possibilities are endless. If you have any questions or would like to know more about our program please contact me at Lori.Case@hcr-manorcare.com or office number 517 244 0404 or company cell phone number 517 231 6900. You can email, call or text.
I look forward to hearing from you and have you join our amazing team here at Heartland.
