ORGANIZATION: Heartland Hospice
Please visit the new page to apply.
My name is Lori and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for Heartland Hospice. We are currently looking for volunteers to donate their time once a week to visit a patient for a friendly visit. Our office is located in Mason , MI but we travel to several counties and are looking for volunteers in the Ovid, Jackson, Albion area to see our patients. Volunteering for Hospice is such a rewarding way to volunteer. You learn a lot about the patient as well as yourself. We have had such great success with this program and everyone benefits. You are a big part of our team and we value our volunteers. Hospice isn't necessarily the end of life. We have had patients on our services for long periods of time. This position is also very flexible to your time availability. If you would like more information please contact me at Lori.case@hcr-manorcare.com or the office number is 517-244-0404 or my company cell phone is 517- 231-6900. We offer a background check, fingerprinting, 2 step TB testing and training. Must be 18 to volunteer. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to get ahold of me.

It is the goal of Heartland Hospice to provide palliative and supportive services to meet physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs to the patients and caregivers in the home, health care facilities, or other residential settings.
