About Flagstaff Biking Organization

Location:

PO Box 23851, Flagstaff, AZ 86002, US

Mission Statement

We are a group of cyclists who came together to advocate for bicycling as a means of transportation and recreation in the Flagstaff area. Our initial project was to put on a Bike to Work Week for our community in May 2002. Building on the success we started to expand our efforts to keep people informed of cycling related issues and galvanize support for better facilities, trails, and trail access.

Description

Through these efforts, we can help promote and protect recreational opportunities for all users benefiting residents and tourists alike. We are working with local land management agencies on long-term trail planning that will better involve and serve the community. Volunteers have demonstrated their commitment to these ideals by showing up in large numbers - contributing 3000 annual hours at our monthly trail days and by becoming trained for our mobile trail crew.
