Through outreach, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops with our Imagine Energy Traveler (mobile demonstration platform, IRenew helps Iowans understand how natural and renewable resources offer energy alternatives to power our homes, businesses, schools, vehicles and cities.

Role

  • Identify businesses in your community that receive at least 25% of the energy they use from clean renewable energy sources.

  • Develop a relationship with these businesses
  • Add these businesses to our database that will eventually feed into a Google Map (See https://irenew.org/resources/free-business-promotion-form)

Our mission is to make renewable energy the primary source of energy in Iowa. Founded in 1992, The Iowa Renewable Energy Association (I-Renew) is a volunteer-run non-profit organization. In addition to educational activities, we partner with other non-profit groups in the state to support renewable energy development.

Wanna lead Iowa toward a future where our primary energy sources are clean, renewable and putting Iowans to work? Volunteer with I-Renew.

Through outreach, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops, I-Renew helps Iowans understand how natural and renewable resources offer energy alternatives to power our homes, businesses, vehicles and cities. I-Renew is offering multiple volunteer opportunities for Iowans who

  • Can commit 5-10 hrs a month to help fill one of our roles
  • Understand the link between sustainability and long-term profitability
  • Have a proven track record of producing results
