Ballet For All Kids is a truly unique non-profit program; we are committed to making dance accessible and affordable for all learning types, body types, and abilities. As an all-inclusive organization, we simply want to share the countless joys and benefits of dance with anyone who wants to move. Our certified curriculum (The Schlachte Method) has been proven successful in teaching children with Learning, Developmental, Intellectual, Social, Emotional, and Physical Disabilities or Disorders.
We are excited to announce our New York expansion! As a small non-profit, we are dependent on and hugely appreciative of community involvement. So we are looking for kind-hearted and passionate volunteers who want to help us grow our program in order to provide dance classes to under-served kids across the boroughs. We are always grateful for any form of volunteer involvement, in and out of the classroom: marketing, fundraising, accounting, grant-writing, data entry, web design, graphic design, photography, videography, research, business/non-profit development, donor outreach, student outreach, social media, phone banking, etc.

Mission Statement
At Ballet For All Kids, we know everybody has abilities that can be used as a springboard to learn new skills and enhance a personal sense of accomplishment. Unfortunately, many children cannot succeed in a traditional class setting and are thus excluded from the numbers benefits that dance classes offer. Our integral approach offers a less restrictive environment paired with individualized attention and support in order to help every student succeed. We share the joys and benefits with all abilities, bodies, and learners.
Description
Our program teaches classical ballet using The Schlachte Method - a method developed to assist ALL children to learn the technique and discipline of ballet.
Every child has abilities that can be used as a springboard to learn new skills and enhance each child’s personal sense of accomplishment. To this end, The Schlachte Method uses a wide variety of teaching methods to accommodate all styles of learning including: visual learning, auditory learning, vestibular learning, and emotional intelligence.
Ballet For All Kids enables ALL children to dance. Many children cannot succeed in a traditional ballet class setting and thus are excluded from all the benefits that ballet classes can bring - self-confidence, friendships, self-discipline, and the joy of movement. Ballet For All Kids welcomes everyone to experience the joy of dance!
