Come join Ballet For All Kids NYC as we kick off Halloween in a spooktacular way! We are offering FREE dance classes October 29th, 30th, & 31st . We are a unique non-profit program that is truly all-inclusive; we make dance accessible for all learning styles, body types, and abilities. We need some volunteers to help assist students in class and to just have fun with us. No dance experience needed. Experience with children preferred.
We will hold three classes: Long Island City, Midtown Manhattan, and Jersey City.

Mission Statement
At Ballet For All Kids, we know everybody has abilities that can be used as a springboard to learn new skills and enhance a personal sense of accomplishment. Unfortunately, many children cannot succeed in a traditional class setting and are thus excluded from the numbers benefits that dance classes offer. Our integral approach offers a less restrictive environment paired with individualized attention and support in order to help every student succeed. We share the joys and benefits with all abilities, bodies, and learners.
Description
Our program teaches classical ballet using The Schlachte Method - a method developed to assist ALL children to learn the technique and discipline of ballet.
Every child has abilities that can be used as a springboard to learn new skills and enhance each child’s personal sense of accomplishment. To this end, The Schlachte Method uses a wide variety of teaching methods to accommodate all styles of learning including: visual learning, auditory learning, vestibular learning, and emotional intelligence.
Ballet For All Kids enables ALL children to dance. Many children cannot succeed in a traditional ballet class setting and thus are excluded from all the benefits that ballet classes can bring - self-confidence, friendships, self-discipline, and the joy of movement. Ballet For All Kids welcomes everyone to experience the joy of dance!
