Volunteers needed to assist staff with the Halloween Carnival at the La Jolla Recreation Center.
Here are the details:
- Saturday, October 28th
- 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (shifts available)
- La Jolla Recreation Center, 615 Prospect Street San Diego, CA 92037

Volunteer Duties:
- Assisting with the set up and breakdown of the event
- Assisting with the snack bar
- Assisting with leading carnival game booths
- face painting
- cake walk
- costume contest
- arts and crafts
Please bring the following:
- work clothes
- closed toe shoes
- water and any snacks you may need during the event
- sunscreen
- hat (optional)
- sunglasses (optional)

Park and recreation professionals and volunteers host hundreds of community events each year and provide safe places for thousands of children to go after school. City employees and volunteers take great pride to enrich the lives of others through quality parks and programs, designed and developed so that people of all ages, abilities and income levels have the chance to participate in excellent recreational opportunities.
