The Walker needs you! We are looking for volunteers to join us on Friday, November 10th for After Hours: Adios Utopia. This event will be the public’s first look at the most significant survey of Cuban art shown in the United States in decades. Celebrate with music by Charanga Tropical, Malamanya, and DJ Don Cuco; indulge in specialty cocktails and small bites; get your hands dirty at a screen printing workshop, and capture the spirit of the night in our photo booth. Preview more than 100 works, including painting, graphic design, photography, video, and performance.
Volunteers contribute to this event in a number of capacities including welcoming event attendees while scanning tickets and handing out programs, providing assistance with coat check, and helping to facilitate an art making activity. Volunteer positions will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank you for your consideration and we hope to see you there!
