Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles unpacks 20-25 boxes of donated collectibles and artwork every Thursday, ideally from 2 - 4 pm, but could be anytime between 1 - 6 pm.

We have backdrops and stage interesting pieces, work with lighting and creating an interesting composition. We currently use tablets to take the pictures. Larger pieces we stage outside or get creative. We edit the photos in Photoshop or Picassa and create a post for our website of a collage of the pics. We want to also post to facebook and instagram. Can you help us?

We can supply interesting subject matter and the equipment. You would supply the skill and time! You'd be joining a fun team and all your efforts would be really appreciated! Contact us today for more info!

Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles has been providing high quality, low priced furniture and collectibles to the Bay Area for almost 30 years. We have been voted "Best of the East Bay" 7 years in a row!

UFC is an economic development institution of the non-profit organization, the African People’s Education and Defense Fund (APEDF.org). All proceeds raised above our operating expenses go to support programs defending the civil and human rights of the African community and bridging the grave disparities faced by the Black community in health, healthcare, economic development and education. That’s why we say that Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles is driven by African self-determination!

Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles has a website at uhurufurniture.blogspot.com.
