Join us at the San Diego River Garden to help beautify a public green space! This drought-tolerant garden in Mission Valley is a community resource with native plant specimens, picnic tables, a mural, and trails!
With the winter rains, the weeds on site have gotten out of control. Volunteers are needed to help clear weeds, load a dumpster with brush, trim over-grown plants, re-organize the tools storage space and more.
All tools and leadership provided. It will be warm out there, so please bring water, sunscreen, and protective clothing. Dress in clothes that can get a little dirty. Closed toe shoes required. RSVP's required.
Call 619.297.7380 or volunteer@sandiegoriver.org Community service hours can be verified. Please note that there are no bathrooms on site.
