Help the homeless companion animals of Stockton and the San Joaquin County. Volunteers work at the shelter performing a variety of duties from laundry to dog walking to bottle feeding kittens to assisting with adoptions. Volunteers submit a volunteer application and attend an orientation (they take place monthly) before initiating their service hours. We can sign off on school hours and community service hours. We accept volunteers on a regular basis and no background is necessary just a love for animals. Please contact us for further details.

Volunteer Services works to recruit and train volunteers to increase adoptions of animals housed at the Stockton Animal Shelter by providing social, behavioral, and physical care as well as facilitating outreach and educational activities promoting animal welfare to visitors of the shelter and in the community.
Description
Stockton Animal Shelter working with the San Francisco SPCA provides support and care to the homeless animals of Stockton and the San Joaquin County. Volunteers can assist the companion animals at the shelter through a variety of duties ranging from laundry to walking dogs to bottle feeding kittens to assisting in adoptions.
