The Rocky Mountain Field Institute (RMFI) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of public lands in Southern Colorado.
At the end of each field season, RMFI hosts an annual Volunteer and Partner Appreciation Event, the RMFI Fall ShinDIG, at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center. The event features dinner buffet, beer and wine, live music, and awards ceremony to recognize all of the volunteers, partners, and supporters that make our work possible.
We are seeking general event assistance to include attendee check-in and registration, restocking of the dinner buffet as needed, bartending, some event room set-up and tear-down, and possibly other tasks as needed to ensure a successful event. Time requested is approximately 4:30pm to 8:30pm or a portion thereof. We would like to meet and interview potential volunteers prior to the event.
