GARDEN OF THE GODS HALLOWEEN COSTUMED YOUTH WORKDAY!

Join RMFI for a day of giving back to one of Colorado Springs most treasured landscapes - the Garden of the Gods!
Led by trained RMFI staff and crew leaders, volunteers will complete a shorter and lighter workday of trail maintenance and restoration projects. This is moderate to moderately strenuous work geared for middle and high school students, but age 8 and up is permitted with an adult volunteer. Be prepared to get dirty! Parents and families are encouraged to attend.
- Minimum age 13, or 8 if accompanying a parent volunteer.
In celebration of Halloween, youth and family participants are encouraged to attend this workday in costume! We will be awarding prizes to the BEST COSTUMES. (Costumes must keep with appropriate workday attire requirements: long pants and sturdy closed-toed shoes, weather appropriate and comfortable for a day of outside work. NO shorts, skirts, or open-toed shoes!)

The Rocky Mountain Field Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit environmental organization based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of public lands in Southern Colorado. RMFI is committed to protecting and enhancing the ecological health of our land and water resources by completing projects focused on watershed restoration, forest health, and creating sustainable outdoor recreation opportunities. By prioritizing the involvement of community volunteers and youth, RMFI envisions a world where our work fosters vibrant and healthy natural systems that are respected and cared for by the public.
