Hanul Family Alliance is looking for volunteers who can teach basic speaking, reading and writing for English language learners! Bring your energy and good will to Hanul to help support our community and improve the quality of life! We are flexible with your teaching style. We will provide you materials or you are able to teach your own. We hope to improve the literacy gap among the senior immigrant population. This will be a great opportunity for people who need Service Hours, ESL teaching experience, learn about Korean culture.

Recruiting Basic English Tutor

Job description and Responsibilities

  • Teach basic English (speaking, grammar, pronunciation, and/or writing) to non-Native English speaking students
  • Create creative learning sessions
  • Assign homework
  • Track students' progress
  • Attend professional development training once a year
