Saturday, February 2nd - Zedler Marsh Habitat Restoration
10:15 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.North-East Corner of 1st Street and Pacific Coast Highway, Seal Beach, CA, 90740
Join us in restoring our rare habitats in Los Cerritos Wetlands. Our events are fun, fulfilling, and require no prior experience, just enthusiasm and a willingness learn. If you are interested in helping your local environment and experiencing the unique urban-surrounded habitats of Los Cerritos Wetlands, please join us!
This event will include:
- Nonnative plant species removal
- Trash removal
- Planting native plants
Closed-toe shoes are required and please bring sunscreen and water for yourself. All work equipment will be provided.
BE GREEN and carpool to the event if possible.
Volunteers are eligible to win prizes such as passes to the Aquarium of The Pacific!

- Volunteers must remain at the event for the full two hours and are guaranteed back at their cars by 12:30 PM.
- Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes, appropriate clothing for working outside, sun protection and reusable water bottles are strongly encouraged.
