We are looking for a volunteer to teach our LinkedIn workshop once a month from 9-12:30pm to approximately 10-16 clients in our computer lab at the YWCA Marin office.
Our clients that we serve are women who are fifty plus and re-entering the workforce, unemployed, etc. Their computer skill levels range from beginning to advanced. A lot of our clients do not have a LinkedIn profile, and it is something employers look at. They often don’t realize how vital and valuable it is to have.
LinkedIn is very helpful for our clients in their job search, and at the same time it helps them to network with others. Ultimately, our clients face many challenges and obstacles in their job search. The YWCA Marin office provides free services to help them grow into confident job seekers and land their next job with a sustainable wage.
