Got a hobby? Are you a people person? Are you interested in putting their passion to good work in support of the fight to end Alzheimer's? If you answered yes then we need you to join "Team Awesome" The Alzheimer's Association of Greater Missouri's Longest Day event committee.

We need creative, outgoing volunteers with a wide variety of interests and hobbies to help build our newest event-The Longest Day. We need hikers, bikers, bowlers, boogiers, bakers, boaters, party planners, golfers, board gamers, artists, crafters and athletes of all kinds to be a part of The Longest Day event committee AKA Team Awesome!

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Description

We are the primary community resource for Alzheimers disease and related disorders through family services, education, public policy and research. We serve 96 counties in Illinois and Missouri, Skilled volunteers join professional staff to participate at every level of service from office support to public speaking to leadership and more. The associations success and growth are due to the dedication nearly 1,000 volunteers, including students and interns.
