Hospice Service-Learning project gives you a realistic experience of working in healthcare. Especially beneficial for those studying nursing, other healthcare, psychology, sociology, social work, elder care and related topics. After orientation, you'll make patient visits every two weeks to offer companionship or spend some time with a patient while a family member takes a break.
This project also extends to musicians who would like to play music for patients. Guitar, keyboards and/or voice; must be proficient; audition or video required.
This project can be done individually or with a partner-volunteer.
