Day Surgery Liaison

The purpose of this position is to make patients and their family/support person(s) comfortable in the Surgical Waiting Room. Once the patient goes into surgery, the guest can become nervous and have questions or concerns. Often times it can be as simple as being the liaison between staff and the guest to keep them updated on the progress of their loved one. After recovery and the patient is discharged, thi8s volunteer will then wheel the patient down to their car and get them buckled in.
Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Shifts can be divided into 2 per day.
