Fundraising Volunteer for FNVW, you will work with our fundraising team to help us grow our donation base.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate fundraising events
• Help redesign organizational fundraising strategy
• Search for grant opportunities
• Help with writing grants
• Develop relationships with new individual donors

Training and Support

• Orientation to the organization and programs
• Orientation provided on fundraising strategies
• Directly supported by the Executive Director
• Ongoing collaboration with FNVW staff and other volunteers
• Professional experience in fundraising and development is a plus, but not required. We’ll teach you what you need to know!

Time Commitment

• 2-6 hours a month, 2 hour committee meeting with potential for work in between meetings.
• 1 year commitment
• Flexible work location, can either work remotely or from the FNVW office

Organizational Summary

Friends for a NonViolent World (FNVW) seeks a world free from violence and the threat of violence. FNVW works to promote and create peace and justice in our community by using the principles and practices of nonviolence to transform conflict and to address the root causes of violence.

FNVW is a Quaker-inspired organization that welcomes volunteers from all faith practices as well as volunteers with no religious orientation.
