Position Statement:
Evening classes, 6:00pm-9:30pm Monday - Thursday
The ESOL (English Students of Other Languages) Program Assistant will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to students during class days. This includes English lesson plans, administrative support to the instructor/s, and technical aspects of assisting students with progressing computer-based language programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide participants with one-on-one assistance
- Assist with technical and administrative tasks
- Provide administrative back-up and support to ESOL Instructor
- Engage and retain students by developing supportive relationships
- Other duties as assigned by Instructor
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma; Some college preferred
- Comfort with computer applications and data entry
- Available evening hours
- Organized, efficient, and task oriented
- English/Spanish Bi-lingual helpful
