The second concert of the Bozeman Symphony's 50th Anniversary season - The Magic of the Theater - is coming up at the end of October. Volunteers are needed to help with front-of-house operations (greeting, ushering, coat check) throughout the weekend, and can enjoy the performances for free.
Concert Information:
For our next celebration we’ll raise the roof in what promises to be a night you’ll never forget, as we present both a world-famous opera star, and one of the most successful ballets of all time. Having performed in every
major opera house in the world, Mark S. Doss is one of the most sought-after singers of our time.
With his powerful stage presence and soaring voice, Mark will wow you with arias from Das Rheingold, Mefistofele, Boris Gudunov, Il Tabarro
and Don Giovanni. If that’s not enough, he’ll follow with Ravel’s Chansons de Don Quichotte à Dulcinée, and selections from Aaron Copland’s Old American Songs.
The orchestra will end the program with the piece that made Igor Stravinsky an overnight, world-wide sensation: The Firebird!
Spectacular!
