Would you like to spend some of your time giving back to the community? Have you ever thought about volunteering for a hospice organization? Volunteers are the heart and soul of Hospice care. As a Hospice Volunteer, you will have the unique opportunity to be a beacon of comfort for patients and their families during a difficult time in their lives.
Patient Care Volunteer:
- You may provide companionship to patients through conversation, reading, music, movie watching, and sharing hobbies
- You may help patients and their families by running errands, doing light household chores and other light work to help around the house
- You may provide respite to family caregivers for a maximum of 4 hours at a time
