Be Involved
There are so many ways to share your creativity and time with the Art Center. Volunteer your time to learn new skills and share them with others.

The Art Center takes on a whole new personality in the evening! Celebrate the opening of our winter exhibition, Through That Which Is Seen.This exhibition will include sculpture, photography, painting, and video spotlighting the use of dioramas in contemporary art. The event will feature food, a signature cocktail, and art activities. Our Friday Night events are not to be missed!

We need:

2 Art Activity Volunteers: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

2 Art Activity Volunteers: 8-10 p.m.

We are looking for adult volunteers (21+) to help with easy and fun art projects. All volunteers will receive training, an apron to borrow, and a free cocktail! This event attracts more than 300 visitors each time, so join in the fun and volunteer on a Friday Night! Volunteers are welcome to select one shift or both. The Palo Alto Art Center is owned and operated by the City of Palo Alto as a program of the Division of the Arts and Sciences, Department of Community Services. The Palo Alto Art Center Foundation was founded in 1971 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that proves financial support and advocacy to the Art Center through a public/private partnership that allows us to enhance our reach and impact in the community.
