UNI is welcoming individuals, college groups, high schools, churches, and corporations to host "workshops," field trips, and other interactive programs during the All Saints Neighborhood Center (ASNC) After School Program! Volunteer groups are encouraged to schedule their own unique workshop.
The ASNC after school program takes place from 3:00 - 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, at 8300 Longworth St. The work shop must occur between 3:00 and 6:00 PM, but does not have to take up all three hours! The children in the program range from 7 - 13 years old, so the workshops are attended for youth and youth development.
Examples of potential workshops: fun science experiments (making slime, volcanos, and mini rockets), educational field trips to visit the volunteer group’s headquarters, makerspaces, educational seminars/lectures, physical fitness awareness, professional workshops, trips to recreation centers, etc. The possibilities are vast, and UNI wants passionate people to share their passions with the youth in our community!
*Please allow two weeks for approval, background checks, and preparation of the workshops*
*Bilingual volunteers are valued*More opportunities with Urban Neighborhood Initiatives
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
