PRS’ Accounting department is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to complete general accounting tasks such as entering data into the payroll system, filing, and other administrative tasks to support the department. Our Accounting department is essential to operating PRS' life-changing and life-saving work to individuals in need in our community.
Commitment/Hours: Minimum 1 day per week (weekdays only) for 3-4 hours. A commitment of 3 months or more required.
Primary Duties:
- Filing
- Performing data entry
- Providing support to the accounting department as needed
Qualifications:
- Should be familiar with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Prior experience working in an office environment
- Interest in finance or accounting
- Strong attention to detail
- Understands the confidentiality of accounting paperwork and access

We work alongside our clients at all phases of recovery, teaching them how to live independently. With Centers in Fairfax, Mt. Vernon, VA, and residential sites throughout Northern Virginia, HopeLink offers a comprehensive array of programs including the Recovery Academy, Community Housing, Employment Services and Community Support Services, and CrisisLink, a 24/7 suicide prevention and crisis intervention hotline and textline.
