Every Year Catholic Charities New Hampshire hosts its annual Mardi Gras Gala to help support our neighbors in need. Mardi Gras is Catholic Charities New Hampshire's premier fundraising Gala, held annually in February. The Mardi Gras Gala supports our various programs and services and is the primary funding source for the Emergency Services Fund. The Emergency Services Fund provides emergency heating assistance, grocery cards, gas cards and other urgently needed items to New Hampshire residents in critical situations.
Volunteers play a vital role in the Mardi Gras operations. A successful Mardi Gras will have 350 individuals in attendance. Volunteers assist in many different positions such as running auction tables, beading and greeting guests, selling raffle tickets helping run different games and activities and assisting with check in and check out.
At last years event we had over 40 volunteers covering two shifts. We raised over 130,000 dollars to help those in need!
Please come lend us a helping hand to help improve the lives of New Hampshire residents!
From 5-6PM we will serve dinner to volunteers!
Feel free to respond to the need or email me directly at rnoronha@nh-cc.org
We also accept groups of Volunteers!
