The OC Buddy Walk(tm) is among the largest Buddy Walks in the U.S. and it’s the largest annual fundraiser for the DSAOC a non-profit organization. Contributions to the 2017 Buddy Walk(tm) help support in-Center therapy programs, expanding Teen/Adult programs and services, support programs, services and outreach benefiting individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
We need volunteers for the fun day to help our attendees with directions, check in, run games, pass out shirts, and so much more! If you are an Angel's fan this volunteer opportunity is for you as the entire event takes place in the stadium on the FIELD! Sign up to volunteer today!

Mission Statement
Our Orange County non-profit is dedicated to enhancing the lives in individuals with Down syndrome and supporting their family members. We provide opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome to reach their full potential. We also collaborate with other organizations supporting individuals with disabilities, engaging in community outreach, and providing public and professional education. Our tag line is: Changing Perceptions, Changing Lives. We sponsor seminars and workshops, host educational and social events, and support new parents and prenatal diagnosis parents through our Parent-Mentoring program.
Description
Since 1978, DSAOC has built upon the proud tradition of helping people with Down syndrime reach their full potential with the support the the community. Currently serving more than 2,000 families in and around Orange County, DSAOC offer a wide variety of educational and support resources.
