About

NeighborLink Indianapolis is a small nonprofit with a mission to help allow low-income seniors and homeowners with disabilities to remain safely in their own homes with a measure of dignity. We do that by providing free home repairs for seniors who do not have adequate resources.
We performed over 350 home repairs last year but are limited by funding needs. We are building a program to support our work but need help getting the funding related tasks done promptly. The right volunteer would work with the Board's Funding Subcommittee on planning, they would execute initial setup steps for action items on that funding plan, and assist in the hiring process for a full time Development Director, set up donor tracking systems, work with an outside consultant on the new program, and much more.

These responsibilities will mature over time as our funding plans mature, but this will be a great opportunity to learn a lot about nonprofit funding for a new organization with an important mission.
