Join Arts & Scraps at the Detroit Opera House for their annual "Nutcracker" weekend! With your help we will be creating a themed-project with families and children of all ages from 12:30-4:00pm. Without our volunteers wouldn't be able to assist half of the children we do. We're looking forward to you joining us at this fun event!

For over 30 years, Arts & Scraps has reimagined recycled materials to inspire people of all ages to think, create and learn.
Description
Arts & Scraps is open to the public to stuff bags with safe, accessible recycled industrial materials. We also host educational and curriculum-based field trips, on site workshops for children and adults and create art and curriculum kits for 10 to 35 students. We bring activity tables to events throughout the Metro Detroit Area. Our warehouse uses volunteers of all abilities to sort, pack and prepare materials for our programs and learning kits.
