SHELVING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB IN A LIBRARY! If we can’t find what we’re looking for on the shelves, what’s the point? Join our shelving crew to help ensure that books and movies are returned to the correct places. There's nothing more satisfying than completing a shelf, tidying it up, and seeing patrons browse the area. Come join a dynamic, fun-loving team and help support your local library.
Volunteer responsibilities include: the ability to file materials accurately in alphabetical and numerical order; to bend, stretch, and kneel; to push carts and bins full of books; and to provide stellar customer service when shelving in public areas.
