What you’ll do:
- Promote teamwork and sports fundamentals as a referee or assistant coach in developmental sports leagues
- Help with league planning and execution
- Support inclusive coaching for youth participants
What it takes:
- Commitment. Sports league support volunteers will need to be available between 4p.m. - 6.pm. Leagues happen late fall and early spring.
- Enthusiasm. We’re looking for soccer, basketball, or kickball enthusiasts who can inspire kids to have fun and play hard.
- Passion. If you want to be a consistent, positive role model in kids lives and help them grow through developmental sports leagues, let’s talk.

We create a place for every kid on the playground to feel included, be active, and build valuable social and emotional skills. We partner with schools, districts, and after-school programs to provide a service or mix of services including on-site coaches, professional training for school staff who support recess, and consultative partnerships.
Playworks currently serves more than 1,200 schools in 23 regions across the United States and reaches more than 700,000 students directly and through professional training services
