Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we provide a hot, nutritious, and delicious meal to seniors in our community. Our prep team will prepare the meal, but we need YOU, to be in charge of the most important part... the coffee! As a specialized part of our daily set up crew, we need someone who would enjoy putting together a hospitality table that includes coffee, hot tea, and other goodies.
While the hospitality table definitely needs some dedication, we are hoping you can also be a team player that can help with other set-up or serving tasks as they come up. The ideal time commitment would be 11am-2pm. We are most in need of a volunteer for Fridays.
Being a team player and a people person is must. Loving coffee is totally optional ;-)

Mission Statement
The mission of Hunger Intervention Program (HIP) is to increase food security for underserved populations in north King County through nutritious meals, educational programs, and advocacy.
Description
HIP’s programs bring nutrition education to local families and vital meals to neighbors in need through our Summer Meals for Kids, Afterschool Snack, Shelter Meals, and Senior Meals programs. Our Healthy HIP Packs program also provides vital weekend food support to children at risk of hunger when they are out of school.
