About

Community Resources' Academic Mentors Project creates opportunities for high achieving, ambitious 5th - 11th grade Denver Public School students who have a passion or interest in a particular topic to connect with community volunteers who share that area of passion. We are currently recruiting a wildlife conservationist to work with a 5th grader who is interested in wildlife conservation. Volunteers are asked to commit a total of six hours over the course of 3-6 meetings with the student. All mentorships begin and end in the current school year. For more information, please visit Community Resources' website www.communityresourcesinc.org or contact Laura Kent, Program Manager at laura_kent@dpsk12.org or 720-424-6554.
