Volunteer Purpose and Impact
Every year thousands of people across Arizona are completely forgotten during the holidays. Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest wants to make this holiday season special for kids and teens in foster care by providing a gift for every child, foster and biological, at the Winter Wonderland event. Join LSS-SW at the Holiday Wrapping Party to celebrate the season together and wrap gifts to be distributed at the event.
Responsibilities and Key Deliverables
- Wrap as many donated children’s toys as desired
- Sing along to Christmas music while wrapping gifts
- Engage in friendly conversation with other volunteers
- Enjoy holiday snacks and beverages
- Passion for Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest mission of Showing kindness, doing justice, and serving those in need
- Desire to spread holiday joy
Volunteers will wrap gifts in the conference room of the LSS-SW Admin office.
Location and Timeframe
The Holiday Wrapping Party will take place at LSS-SW Admin office located at 10201 S. 51 Street, Suite 180, Phoenix, Arizona, 85044 on Thursday, December 7, 2017. We will gather at 3:00pm and wrapping will begin at 3:15pm.
